Fuel Surcharge: A surcharge charged by shipping companies to reflect changes in fuel prices. The rate is based on the price per gallon of aviation fuel in the U.S. Gulf Coast (USGC) Aviation Fuel Index published by the U.S. Department of Energy (EIA).
Remote Area Delivery Surcharge: For parcels sent to remote areas, a surcharge is required, and the additional delivery fee for remote areas will be charged by ticket. Remote areas refer to islands, highland areas, or areas where postal services are not available, or remote suburbs/towns with inconvenient traffic and fewer services.
Tariffs: Imports into the destination country may incur tariffs, which differ from country to country under customs tax laws. In general, high declared values generate relatively high duties. If the declared value is too lower than the actual value, a relatively high duty will also be incurred. If the recipient refuses to pay the customs duty, the duty will automatically be borne by the sender.
Over-length/over-weight cargo surcharge: For cargoes with single piece weight over 70kg (excluding 70kg) or any side length over 120cm, an over-length/over-weight operation fee of RMB300/ticket will be charged, plus fuel surcharge for the month.
Tariff prepayment service fee: Shipper prepayment of tariff (DDP), the service fee for paying tariff on a third party account is RMB150 per ticket.
Address change surcharge: If the delivery fails due to address error and DHL is required to modify the address and deliver successfully, 150RMB / ticket + fuel surcharge of the current month will be charged.
Surcharge for high-risk areas: 185RMB / ticket, plus fuel charge of the current month. The cost includes Afghanistan, Burundi, Iraq, Libya, Mali, Niger, South Sultan, Syria and Yemen. The surcharge in high-risk areas shall be used as the calculation base of fuel surcharge.
Restricted destination surcharge: 185RMB / ticket. Countries subject to this fee include: Central African Republic, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eritrea, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Libya, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.
Separate customs clearance service fee: 200RMB / ticket.
Return fee: If the package is returned to the sender because the recipient cannot sign, the package cannot enter the destination customs or fails to provide processing advice within the specified period, the shipping cost from the destination country back to Hong Kong or Shenzhen will be borne by the sender.
